Our Story

It all started with a Hinge match. After talking for a few days Eddie convinced Charlie to go on a date. We met at Cozy Club in Leeds and the rest, as they say, is history.

This Green Moon

As nature lovers, we can’t think of a more fitting place to tie the knot that under a tree canopy.
Join us in an ancient woodland on the outskirts of Leeds, at This Green Moon, where we’ll dine under two giant tipis and stay warm around the fire.

Dress Code

Our celebration will be formal but functional, set outdoors in a beautiful woodland. To ensure comfort on the outdoor terrain, we recommend avoiding high heels.

We are aiming for as sustainable a wedding as possible. With this in mind, we kindly request that you consider rewearing, borrowing, renting or buying your outfit secondhand first, before buying new.

While we’ll provide cozy blankets and a fire pit for warmth, the evening may get a bit chilly, so please bring a jacket or jumper to stay comfortable.

Kaffee und Kuchen

As a nod to Charlie’s German heritage we will be hosting Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee & cake). We would love for you all to bring your version of cake, dessert or other sweet treat to share after the wedding breakfast. It can be baked by Mr Kipling, Betty Crocker, or your own two hands, no judgements here.

Sustainability

We try to live a sustainable life, and no surprises here, we hope to have a sustainable wedding day. Much of what you will see on the day will have been carefully considered, created, borrowed, or be preloved.

We sincerely hope you join us in making this a sustainable day by car pooling and taking public transport where possible, wearing already owned, pre-loved or rented glad rags and doing your bit on the day by using the recycling & compost bins provided.
